ALL in for MLK! 
This last 9 weeks of school could mean a special activity and over the top prizes for your student. Students who attend ALL of the 4th qtr (April 10-June 16) school days will receive prizes. 3 or fewer absences will also be part of prizes and drawings for more! 5 or fewer absences will be awarded a Field Trip to one of several really COOL places!

LET’s go SWIMMING!!!
3rd and 4th graders! Beginning Wednesday, the 3rd and 4th grade students will need to have their swimsuit and towels ready to go for a trip to our MHA pool. Students will spend 1.5 hours learning water safety and experiencing both classroom and pool settings. Permission slips must be turned in to the classroom teacher and were sent home Friday. Check your students backpack and dig through the closet to find an appropriate swimsuit for your child. Students will be changing at MHA with appropriate staff supervision.Please contact the office or your classroom teacher should you have any questions.

Volunteers are welcome and needed! 
Throughout the day there are opportunities for you to be part of the MLK day- love for music? need some gym time? Listen to your students preparing for their spring music concert? support a teacher? Niche for office tasks on Monday’s? Love to be outside and support recess from 11:15-12:45 with the classroom teacher present too? Reach out to the MLK staff to learn more about how you can help! (Lunch room, Locker help at arrival or dismissal, recess support with teachers (especially now that nice weather is here!); Got another idea? Can’t wait to hear how you might plug in regularly with your child’s (or grandchild’s) learning and school day! Schedule with your classroom teacher or the office staff.

SNOW DAYS– Snow days are communicated via Dean’s List, phone and email. Please be sure your emergency contact information is up to date? Not sure?
